Our History in the Professional Liability Insurance Sector

We have been insuring and advising customers in the professional services industry for over 25 years. Our current senior team members started their careers as underwriters working for the leading technology insurance companies. We helped insurance companies develop products and services, which were marketed by independent agents and brokers. Then we took our knowledge to Moody, a long-established and respected insurance agency.

Our Professional Industry Customers

One of our more sophisticated and valuable specialty areas is insuring customers with professional insurance needs. Some industry classifications where we have access to specialty programs include but are not limited to: attorneys, medical offices, nurse registry services, home health and private duty nursing services, information technology firms, media related businesses and life science or biotech businesses.

Moody’s customer list includes many of the largest regional employers in the DC and Baltimore metropolitan areas and hundreds of professional services customers.

  • The Benefits: Moody saves our customers significant premium dollars due to the volume, experience and understanding of the insurance underwriting process. You can expect to receive current, specialized and useful risk management advice from some of the most knowledgeable licensed independent insurance agents in the Maryland, DC and Virginia region.
  • The Difference: Other insurance agencies without insurance company underwriting and risk management experience rely on advice from others, such as insurance companies, to meet your needs and answer your questions. Insurance companies are an excellent source of information but they develop products to suit their needs. Moody can work with your risk management department and help you make informed decisions about complex specialty insurance issues.
